Dr. Călin Alexandru Ur: In 2024, ELI-NP was awarded a grant to research and pilot test new methods of cancer treatment and diagnosis based on high-power lasers,
and to disseminate them to the medical community and medical equipment industry for large-scale implementation. The project, entitled Medical Applications
of High-Power Lasers – Dr. LASER, is part of Romania’s Health Program and is co-funded by the European Union and the Romanian Government.
